Bonded protection that beads water, blocks UV, and lasts years — not weeks. Applied at your location.
Starting FromWax sits on top of your paint and washes off. Ceramic coating is different — it chemically bonds to your clear coat and becomes part of the surface. The result is a semi-permanent layer of protection that can't be washed off, doesn't need to be reapplied every few months, and keeps your paint looking wet and deep for years.
Every coating we apply starts with a full decontamination wash and clay bar treatment. If the surface isn't spotless, the ceramic won't bond correctly. We do the prep right so the coating lasts.
Both are professional-grade ceramic. Both include full prep and decontamination. The difference is the formula strength and how long it lasts.
Full exterior wash, iron decontamination, and clay bar. Every surface must be completely clean and free of contaminants before ceramic touches it — this is the step that determines how well the coating bonds and how long it lasts.
Ceramic is applied panel by panel in a shaded environment, then leveled and allowed to flash-cure before we move on. The full job takes most of a day. Quality ceramic application is slow by design — there's no way to rush the chemistry.
Avoid washing or getting the car wet for 48–72 hours after application. After that, your coating is fully cured and actively protecting your paint. 6+ year clients get an annual inspection — we come back once a year to check the coating and apply a maintenance layer.
Water beads up and rolls off the surface, taking dirt and road grime with it. Your car stays cleaner between washes and dries faster after rain.
The ceramic layer shields your paint from UV rays that cause fading and oxidation over time. NJ sun, especially in summer, accelerates paint damage without protection.
Ceramic adds optical depth and clarity to your paint's finish. Colors look richer, reflections sharper. The wet-look gloss people associate with new cars — that's what ceramic delivers.
Bird droppings, road salt, acid rain, tree sap — all of these etch unprotected paint. Ceramic creates a sacrificial barrier that takes the hit instead of your clear coat.
The hardened ceramic layer adds measurable scratch resistance against light swirl marks and minor contact — the kind that accumulates from improper washing over time.
Protected paint stays cleaner and in better condition longer. When you sell the car, the paint still looks new. Ceramic pays for itself in preserved resale value.
With proper maintenance, 2–3 years is realistic for the standard coating. The 6+ year formula lasts 6–8 years. Both require avoiding automated brush car washes and washing with pH-neutral soap. Neglect accelerates wear on any ceramic coating.
The 6+ formula has a higher concentration of SiO2 (silicon dioxide) and a thicker application layer. This results in a harder cure, longer lifespan, greater gloss depth, and stronger UV protection. The prep process is identical — the difference is entirely the product strength and the annual inspection program included with the 6+ tier.
Not required, but worth considering if your paint has visible swirl marks or scratches. Ceramic coating seals whatever is underneath — including existing defects. If you want your paint to look its best under the coating, a paint correction session before application is the right move. We can do both on the same visit.
Wait 48–72 hours after application before washing or exposing the car to water. This curing window is critical for the coating to fully bond. The 6+ year formula benefits from the longer end of that window. After that, your car will wash easier and dry faster than it ever did without coating.
Hand wash with pH-neutral soap or use a touchless car wash. Avoid automated brush washes — they degrade the coating over time. A ceramic maintenance spray every few months helps preserve the hydrophobic performance. 6+ year clients get an annual maintenance visit from us — included at no extra charge.
For a daily driver that sits outside in NJ weather, ceramic is actually more valuable — not less. UV exposure, acid rain, road salt, and industrial fallout all accelerate paint damage on cars that get driven regularly. Ceramic gives your paint continuous protection against all of it, and your car looks better doing it.
